For wine lovers, an unmissable event is back: the Prosecco Spring on the Venetian hills, recently also Unesco heritage. The Prosecco hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene have in fact been inscribed in the World Heritage List as a cultural landscape.
Right here, between Conegliano and Valdobbiandene, will take place the food and wine festival dedicated to Prosecco. The wine exhibitions will in fact be held starting from Sunday 27 March 2022 and will continue until 6 June.
Now in its 26th edition, once again, the Spring of Prosecco is confirmed as the most awaited appointment to visit the area and discover the typical products of the area. In fact the event, finally back in attendance, will be an opportunity to take a walk into nature and discover the places where the famous Superior Prosecco of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene DOCG is born, celebrated by the verses of the poet Andrea Zanzotto.
The inauguration of the exhibition will tie in with the first regional day of the Veneto hills, officially established with the aim of promoting the protection and enhancement of the Venetian hills and the landscape that has made this area famous all over the world.
On the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, everything is almost ready to celebrate Prosecco, the symbol of these lands. For the occasion there will also be some visits to the most famous cultural sites and important sporting events, such as walks to discover the area.
This year a double theme was thought: naturalistic and cultural. In addition to the 17 Wine Exhibitions, visitors will be able to experience and discover the local culture and hospitality first hand with shows, guided tours, walks and much more.
In June, the Gold Band Wine competition will be held, which will award the best wine production in the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene area.
