Discover Medieval Bassano with guided tours

There is nothing better, under the spring sun, than a guided tour to discover the Medieval Bassano.

For all interested, every first and third Sunday of the month, you can visit the Civic Tower, the Ezzelini walkway that surrounds the castle – with its attached guardhouse, and Porta Dieda, led by a licensed tour guide who will explain the history and the curiosities of these places.

Bassano del Grappa is known for the presence of its famous Ponte Vecchio but it is certainly not the only attraction of the city. Find out what the others are. With the arrival of sunny days, the opening hours of the monuments will also be extended: from Thursday to Sunday the Civic Tower will be open from 10am to 7pm, to enjoy every last ray of sunshine. Furthermore, in April – on the occasion of Easter and long weekends – there will be some extraordinary openings on Easter Monday and 25th of April.

Every Sunday morning at 11am, a professional guide will explain the history of the city during a pleasant walk from Piazza Garibaldi – dominated by the Civic Tower and the Church of San Francesco – up to the Palladio bridge, passing through the walkway around the Ezzelini castle. The guides can be carried out individually or in a minimum group of 5 people. The guided tour of the historic centre of Bassano will last about an hour and a half.
