A summer in music in Bassano del Grappa and surroundings

Finally summer is back, bringing with itself the desire of living outside to enjoy the city and, why not, the good music. If you like concerts and live music, in Bassano del Grappa and its surroundings you will have many possibilities to listen to it. Whether you decide to spend some days in Veneto, on the beach or in the mountains, plan some days of relax, tasty food and concerts in the nearby Bassano del Grappa. You could mix the pleasure of listening some good live music in the evening to a visit of the famous distilleries of grappa. It will be a unique occasion to discover the territory.

Here are the musical summer events.

Let us begin with the concert of “I Nomandi”, in Cartigliano, on 26^th of June. The event will take place in the suggestive Park of Villa Morosini Cappello, a perfect location to host one of the historic groups of Italian music. The show begins at 9:30pm and it is organized by DuePunti Events, in collaboration with Comune of Cartigliano. The tickets for the concert are available in Ticketone network/chain.

One of the central summer events for who loves music is the “Marostica Summer Festival”. In fact, from 8^th July in “Piazza Castello”, some of the most important figures of Italian and international music will pass the torch. The first one going on stage, on Thursday 8^th July, is Francesca Michielin. Followed then, on 9^th July, by Piero Pelù, with his Gigante Live. Then it is the time of Musicall on 10^th July, a journey between theatre and music, from “La dolce vita” of Federico Fellini to “Notre Dame de Paris” with the music of Riccardo Cocciante. The show will be interpreted by Giò di Tonno, Vittorio Matteucci e Graziano Galatone, accompanied by the rhythmic symphony Orchestra directed by Maestro Diego Basso.
On July 12^th performs instead the duo Colapesce e Dimartino, who have climbed the radio charts during these months with their hit “Musica leggerissima”.
In the end, to close the festival, July 16^th Gianna Nannini brings to Marostica the tour “Piano forte e Gianni Nannini – La Differenza“, offering a closer dimension of his songs.

This summer will be back also Operaestate Festival. From Saturday 17^th July until September, you can attend dance, theatre and music shows. This edition is entitled “Anno1 P.Q./Ecologie del Presente”, to underline how 2021 is for the festival the year 1 post quarantine, but also, as for all of us, the year after a long quarantine. Another event that we want to recommend to you is Ama Music Festival, which starts on 25th August. There will be 5 days of events, with music, art and culture, in Villa Ca’ Cornaro in Romano d’Ezzelino, Vicenza province.
It starts on Wednesday 25th with the concert of the Nothing But Thieves, that will present in Ama Festival the new album of unrealized “Moral Panic”. On Thursday 26^th is instead time of Frah Quintale, revelation of last years’ Italian music, who will present live for the first time the album “banzai”.
On Friday 27^th August performs Willie Peyote, accompanied by ALL DONE band, bringing to Romano d’Ezzelino his tour. While, on Saturday 28^th August, closes the festival the long awaited live of the Subsonica.
